 I’m Bimalendu Samanta (MBA). Well, I didn’t born as a photographer, but I was set out to be. So it just happened; because the art of photography is a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision. I often use the tools of modern photography to try to capture in the emotions I felt at the moment when I tripped the camera’s shutter. Thus, me, get lost in the aesthetic world of this art. I love to shooting couples in the quickest possible manners with my self proclaimed sence.

In a world where ‘Creatures with Brains’ often only have a couple of minutes to look into things, I am among the ‘Creatives with Hearts’ who have plenty of time to indulge into beauty which is timeless and beyond the consideration of mortality. My photographs reveal a compassionate understanding among different subjects and angles often splurging into one another. I don’t photograph subjects, I photograph the way they make me feel. Basically, I am a hunter gatherer of natural light and candid moments wringing perfection out of every picture consisting those. Taking pictures don’t distract me from the present moment, it rather puts me directly into the appreciation of it!”

Being based at Kolkata - the Art & Cultural Capital of India, I grew up with the legacy and vibrant colour of the city of joy and celebration and passion. From the love of Reading, Photography, Music, I finally fell in love with passion of the World of Photography. As an artist first, photographer second, I always try to present my photography from artistic point of view.
